DAY BY DAY
Day 1: Aeropuerto – La Paz
Arrival at airport and trasnfer with guide to Ascochinga at Pueblo Estancia La Paz. Night at Pueblo Estancia La Paz.
Day 2: Ascochinga – Miramar - Ascochinga
After breakfast we departure to Laguna del Plata (Silver Lagoon) where a large population of flamingos will welcome us. Laguna del Plata is part of Mar Chiquita Lake, an endorheic salt lake located in the northeast of the province of Córdoba. The northeast corner of the lake also extends into southeastern Santiago del Estero Province. It is the largest of the naturally occurring saline lakes in Argentina. The lake is in the Argentine Espinal ecoregion. It occupies the southern part of a depression that measures about 80 km (north–south) by /45 km (east–west). Its surface area varies considerably, given its shallow depth (about 10 m), and ranges between 2000 and 6000 km2.

Day 3: Ascochinga – Cerro Colorado - Cordoba
After breakfast we head to Cerro Colorado (red hill) Natural Reserve, one of the most important archaeological sites in Argentina. The landscape is determined by geological formations of red sandstones and soil erosion.
The region was was originally inhabited by Comechingones y Sanavirones people, they left testimonies of their art and way of life, in cave paintings.
Box lunch included. Night at Hotel Azur.DAY 4. TREKKING TO PUESTO FERREYRA
Afer breaksfast we start our full day trekking to Puesto Ferreryra, a rural spot full of real local life and natural beauty. From the main square in San Javier we start the 5.5 kilometers trekk until we reach Puesto (spot) Ferreyra (1400 m.a.s.l.). Along the way we will observe the endemic species of the área. We will have unique panoramic views over the region and even over valleys on the other side of the mountain. We will enjoy an authentic asado (BBQ) in the middle of a scenic lansdcape. Difficulty: middle to low. Night at La Matilde.
Day 5. Out
Transfer out without guide to airport.
