THE BEST RIDING ́S EXPERIENCE

DAY 1 ARRIVE IN CÓRODOBA, THE HIDDEN GEM OF ARGENTINA.

Upon arrival at the Córdoba airport, you will be greeted by one of our guides and transferred to Hotel Azur Real. After check in we start a 2 1⁄2 hours walking tour. We will visit the Jesuit Block. It contains the core buildings of the capital of the former Jesuit Province of Paraguay: the church, the Jesuit priests’ residence, the university, and the Colegio Convictorio de Montserrat. Then we go to Paseo del Buen Pastor, a place with some interesting architectural nuances and interesting sculpture by local artist.
Your guide will introduce you into the tradition of having mate, one of the most importat cultural features in Argentina
Evening at your leisure to explore the city and try the local cuisine, an interesting mixture of different backgrounds.

DAY 2 CORDOBA TO LOS POTREROS

We leave the city in north direction to reach a beautiful but little-known range of hills known as the ‘Sierras Chicas.’ Nestled between the Pampas and the Andes, the area is designated provincial reserve, renowned for its stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and rural traditions.

After 1 hour driving we will left the road ant take a path between hills to get into Los Potreros Experience.

The arrow dirty road is part of this adventure: a real inmersion into a Estancia LifeStyle and Gauchos experience.

As soon as you arrive to the main house you will be part of the environment and the family.

DAY 3. ESTANCIA LOS POTREROS

Trail riding is tailored to suit ability and the hills provide a surprising variety of landscapes and terrain. Rocky outcrops give way to open hillsides. Hidden valleys lead to tumbling waterfalls and wooded paths. Trails take you to swimming holes and spectacular viewpoints, or further afield to neighbouring lands that offer a glimpse of rural life, past homesteads, churches and remote schools.
You will enjoy this day getting in touch with riding experiences, horses and gauchos.

DAY 4. ESTANCIA LOS POTREROS

Every day at the estancia is different. The would-be gauchos amongst you can canter along grassy hilltops, take a dip in natural rock pools, visit local churches on horseback, help round-up the young horses (to protect them from the elusive puma), learn how to lasso, or have a go at polo.

Out of the saddle, the cattle and horse trails make for wonderful walking, taking guests to awe-inspiring viewpoints and hidden waterfalls whilst experiencing the plentiful birdlife and colourful wildflowers, or watching the gauchos at work.

Enjoy the best of Argentine food and wine with home-reared beef washed down with Malbec. The serenity and landscape lend themselves to those who enjoy painting, photography or writing, or simply curling up with a book, whilst good conversation and a gin and tonic are never far away.

After breakfast we will start the trip back to Córdoba Airport
